During this time if the defendant chooses to skip court dates or violate their terms of bail the bail bondsmen may hire a bounty hunter.
As long as the defendant appears in court during their appointed court dates and comply to their terms of bail the bail bondsmen’s job is done. Depending on your contract, the percentage you paid for the bail bond isn’t returned. Since that is typically considered the bail bondsman’s fee or cost of service.
